Cookie Base
- 1 family-size package Nutter Butter cookies
Peanut Butter Cheesecake Layer
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/3 cups powdered sugar
- 3 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed and divided
Chocolate Layer
- 1 box (5.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix
- 3 cups cold milk
Topping
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- Crushed Nutter Butter cookies (from remaining cookies in package)
Instructions
- Arrange a single layer of Nutter Butter cookies in the bottom of a 9×13-inch baking dish, covering the surface as evenly as possible.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy.
- Fold in 1 1/2 cups of the whipped topping until fully combined and creamy.
- Spread the peanut butter cheesecake mixture evenly over the cookie layer.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and cold milk for about 5 minutes, or until thickened.
- Spread the chocolate pudding evenly over the peanut butter layer.
- Top with the remaining 1 1/2 cups whipped topping and spread smoothly to the edges.
- Sprinkle crushed Nutter Butter cookies evenly over the whipped topping layer.
- Microwave the peanut butter for about 30 seconds, or until smooth and pourable. Allow it to cool slightly.
- Drizzle the melted peanut butter over the top of the dessert.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight, until fully set.
- Slice into squares and serve chilled.
